The Missing Compassion Book

I share today's events because they show a glimpse into how fun it is being at the corner-- This morning I decided to head to the corner earlier than usual because I feel like I need to spend more time there since days are now longer. As soon as I got there a friend came by and shared an epiphany about the circumstances of his life. Bouncy Ball Becomes a Cat

A few days ago I wrote a blog comparing a bouncy red ball that came up to me like a cat; it resembled a cat when it comes up to you out of the corner of your eye for some petting. Yesterday I ran into my friend who runs an open mic on Sunday nights. I asked him when he wants me to come and talk a bit about compassion and he asked if I could come to this evening's event. Bouncy Red Ball

Yesterday while on my way downtown a bouncy red ball approached me, like how a cat runs across the street and rubs its head on your leg; the ball itself seemed to intentionally come at me. So I picked it up and looked around to see from where it came--the playground full of playful children at a school across the street. A young man working there waved, so I went over and returned the ball. He asked, "I see you downtown all the time. What do you do?"I answered, "I ask people to share their…See More
